Got Photos?
If you know what the difference is between a snapshot and a photograph, the potdgroup.com has
a nice opportunity for you. We are in the proces of setting up multiple websites and need quality photos!

Right now we especially need USA-themed or patriotic images. They can be of people, places,
buildings or landscapes. In fact, the subject can be just about anything as long as it depicts the spirit of America.

We also need images here on the Photo of the Day Group site, and these may fall into any category.

If you or someone you know would like to contribute, please send the images to admin@potdgroup.com

All we ask is that you make them at least 1024 pixels on the long side; if they are
longer we may crop or resize them, if they are shorter we cannot use them.

Please give us your name, location, type of camera used and any other helpful information so
that we can give you full credit and copyright when the photo is displayed.

The Surprise Photo of the Day

As much as I have enjoyed keeping these sites up and running, it has become very difficult to
keep a good supply of quality images coming in to choose from.

Without good images, the site suffers; I never wanted to use this site to display my own photos,
but I have done so frequently just to keep fresh images on the page.

If anyone has a suggestion about how we can obtain more quality photos to display here, please
email me at the below address, or post on the POTD forums. I think that this site is fairly unique
on the Internet in that we display food, high-resolution images and allow them to be downloaded
for personal use. If I had enough images I would probably open the rest of the POTD domains
that we own. Maybe sometime in the future...
Thanks for viewing! Bill
